"Number one priority for Georgia is provision of peace and security in our region," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili told journalists, APA's bureau in Georgia reports.
Georgian FM has noted that his county is always ready to play the role of mediator between Armenia and Azerbaijan to this end. Ilia Darchiashvili has stressed that the process will continue.
"Actually, a concrete result was achieved last year with the active participation of the Prime Minister, and this process continued. A few months ago, we hosted a meeting of the foreign ministers of both countries. This is an example of our friends' special trust in us, and we are always ready for Georgia and Tbilisi to be a place for our southern neighbors to achieve concrete results from the negotiations and to conduct a calm and peaceful dialogue for peace and stability in our region," stressed FM.
