“Issues on the global agenda will be discussed at the 9th Global Baku Forum,” said Ismail Serageldin, co-chair of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center at the press conference held today regarding the 9th Global Baku Forum, APA reports.
Noting that they met with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev today, Ismail Serageldin said that Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev believes that as a result of discussions at the IX Global Baku Forum, useful proposals on issues on the global agenda will be put forward.
Bringing to the attention that the forum will be attended by up to 400 representatives from 53 countries, as well as the heads of state and government, former heads of state and governments, and young leaders, the co-chair of the Nizami Ganjavi International center noted that due to the pandemic there is a change in the date of the forum, that is traditionally held, and believed the next forum will be held in mid-March of the next year.
Delivering a speech at the conference, former President of Bulgaria Rosen Plevneliev expressed gratitude to Azerbaijani President and people for organizing the forum. According to him, Global Baku Forum holds discussions on global peace, and prosperity.
