The groundbreaking ceremony of the town to be built by Azerbaijan in Kahramanmaraş city of Türkiye was held, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
President of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan and President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the groundbreaking ceremony via video link.
It is planned to hand over the apartments to their owners within a year.

Azerbaijan will build a town in Kahramanmaraş, President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdogan said in his speech at the TEKNOFEST Aerospace and Technology Festival in Istanbul, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan stressed that schools, mosques and other buildings will be built within the project.
