Samad Seyidov, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, Member of Azerbaijan's Parliament, will visit Reykjavik, Iceland on May 14 to attend the meeting of the Standing Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), APA reports.
At the meeting of the standing committee, opinions will be exchanged on "The Council of Europe as a key player of the multilateral architecture" and "The Council of Europe as a pioneer of human rights protection: the new generation of rights" and other topics.
Within the framework of the visit, the head of the Azerbaijani delegation will also participate in a round table on the theme "A democracy fit for the future" (Veröld, The House of Vigdis, University of Iceland, 10 a.m.-11.30 a.m.).
The visit will end on May 16.
