"President Heydar Aliyev had a dream about peace, he wanted to see a stable and prosperous region," former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Hikmet Cetin said at the event called "Heydar Aliyev 100: Life and Legacy" held at the Heydar Aliyev Center, APA reports.
Hikmet Chetin shared his memories with Heydar Aliyev: "His wish was for Azerbaijan to be recognized in the international arena, to become an active member. I had a very close relationship with President Heydar Aliyev. I am sure that Heydar Aliyev would be very happy if he saw the position Azerbaijan is in today. This was his wish."
