Hungarian President expressed condolences to Azerbaijan

Hungarian President Katalin Novák expressed her condolences to Azerbaijan over the murder of an Embassy employee at the attack on the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran, said the Hungarian President on Twitter, APA reports.

"I strongly condemn any attack on diplomatic missions and its personnel. My deepest condolences to Azerbaijan and to the family of the victim, who passed away during the dreadful act at the Azerbaijani Embassy in Iran," Katalin Novák said.

Note that an armed attack took place at the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Iran on January 27, 2023, at about 8:30 by Baku time. As a result of this vile attack, Orkhan Askerov, the head of the security service of the diplomatic mission, was killed while performing his official duties, and two employees of the Embassy were injured.
