The proposals made by Iran to Armenia during the 44-day war could change the essence and outcome of the war, Armenian political scientist Stepan Danielyan said, APA reports.

S. Danielyan said at a press conference in Yerevan on September 27 that the Armenian society would be shocked if they found out what proposals Iran made during the 44-day war and which Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan refused: “The question arises: why was refusal?"

Danielyan noted that in 2020, Turkiye, Israel, and Britain were also parties to the war directed against Iran, recalling that the Assistant to the President of the United States for National Security John Bolton, back in 2018, during his visit to Armenia, set the task of closing the Iranian border.

“During a visit to Armenia in 2018, Bolton called on Armenians to get rid of stereotypes and said that the United States was interested in the attitude of Armenia and Armenians towards Turkiye. I mean, it's important to them. Bolton named the price that the current ruling regime must pay for supporting the coming to power in Armenia. This was the condition for the change of power in 2018,” he added.
