Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation with Karen Donfried, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs of the United States of America, APA reports citing the Twitter account of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs of the US State Department.
The sides discussed the situation on the Lachin-Khankendi road.
Notably, yesterday Karen Donfried also had a phone conversation with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.
"She encouraged both ministers to re-engage in the process of reaching an enduring peace," the US State Department said.
