Kazakh ambassador: "CSTO mission successfully completed its work"

Kazakhstan has legally applied to the Collective Security Treaty Organization for support, noted the ambassador of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan Serjan Abdikarimov at the press conference in the Embassy today, APA reports.

According to him, about 2,5 thousand CSTO peacekeepers are in Kazakhstan.

The ambassador has noted that while adopting the relevant decision, there has been a danger of losing the city of Almaty. He noted that losing Almaty meant losing the state.

The ambassador noted that the attempt at the coup in Kazakhstan has failed. Serjan Abdikarimov added that there will not be any changes in the economic policy of the country, all investments will be protected.

The ambassador has also emphasized that the CSTO mission has successfully completed its work.
