Russia expects a restrained approach from Armenia and Azerbaijan against the background of the new escalation, said said Kremlin Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
The spokesperson stressed that President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin's contacts with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Nikol Pashinyan are currently not planned due to the new tension between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
The Kremlin spokesman also reminded that there was a separate conversation between the Russian president and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in Moscow during the visit of Pashinyan on May 9 Victory Day.
