Latvian diplomat: "We have active political dialogue with Azerbaijan"

"Latvia respects the sovereignty and territorial integrity of every country," said Vija Busha, charge d'affaires of the Embassy of Latvia in Azerbaijan in his speech at the event dedicated to the Independence Day of Latvia, APA reports.

"Latvia respects international law, and recognizes the sovereignty and territorial integrity of each country. There are constructive and friendly relations between our countries. There is an active political dialogue between our states. There have been high-level mutual visits between Latvia and Azerbaijan over the past years. 14 municipalities of Latvia and Azerbaijan cooperation has been established between them. The relations between our peoples are getting closer," he added.
