"It is important to strictly implement the trilateral agreements of the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan and Armenia. This is our common opinion," said Russia's Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at the press conference with his Armenian counterpart on the results of the negotiations, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

He noted that in the meeting, the work issue of the commission on the delimitation of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border was considered with the consultative assistance of Russia: "For our part, we reaffirmed our readiness to assist in concluding a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan".

Lavrov noted that his country welcomes the normalization process of Armenian and Turkish relations: "Normalization of Ankara-Yerevan relations must help the improvement of the general situation in the region. In this regard, our common opinion is the importance of ensuring the rhythmic work of the "3 + 3" regional platform. This is an important additional channel for building dialogue and developing multifaceted cooperation between the countries of the region and their neighbors".
