“When applying to the International Court of Justice, a folder of dozens and hundreds of pages of documents on the videos and investigations found by the law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan was presented,” said Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov while responding to the question of APA at joint briefing of the General Prosecutor's Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on the crimes committed against Azerbaijan by the armed forces of Armenia and illegal Armenian armed groups from 1988 to the present day.
He noted that in return, the Armenian side stated that it deals with the issue every time and presented a statement containing several sentences.
"At this time, the issue has not been clarified. They were also recorded by the International Court of Justice. International organizations have not unequivocally put this issue before Armenia, it has remained for years. Armenia has denied all crimes for 30 years. They proceeded from the position of not accepting responsibility for any issues, denying the committed crimes, and conducting a smear campaign against Azerbaijan in one form or another. It continued in this form for a long time. In the last 10 years, which person did the Armenian side hold responsible for these crimes? On the contrary, these people were presented as heroes in Armenian society, only appreciated measures were taken about them.”
