MFA: Armenia should completely withdraw its forces from Azerbaijan’s territory

It is known very well that the Armenian Prime Minister's denial of the presence of the Armenian armed forces on the territory of Azerbaijan does not agree with the statements of other officials of Armenia under his direct authority and the Ministry of Defense that the armed forces have not yet been withdrawn, said Press Secretary of Azerbaijani MFA Aykhan Hajizade while responding to the question of the media regarding Pashinyan’s thoughts at the meeting of the government, APA reports.

“We remember very well that despite all the facts, Armenia claimed its forces had not occupied Azerbaijan for 30 years. It has been proven many times that all these claims of Armenia have no basis and the resolutions of the UN Security Council demanded Armenian forces to unconditionally and immediately withdraw. In accordance with the Trilateral statement, the Armenian side should completely withdraw its forces from the territory of Azerbaijan,” the statement says.
