MFA: Turkiye is pleased with return of Lachin city, Zabukh, and Sus villages to Azerbaijan

Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement on the return of Lacin city, Zabukh and Susu villages to Azerbaijan, APA reports.

It is noted that Turkiye is pleased with the return of Lachin city, Zabukh, and Sus villages to Azerbaijan.

“We are pleased with the return of Lacin city, Zabukh, and Sus villages to Azerbaijan, in accordance with the statement dated November 9 (November 10-ed.), within the framework of the ongoing process.

We hope that this important step taken in the field of establishment of peace and stability in the region will contribute to both regional normalization, and Azerbaijani-Armenian relations. Turkiye will continue to support fraternal Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty as it did it before,” the statement reads.
