Milli Majlis Speaker attends opening of 43rd ASEAN IPA General Assembly

Chair of the Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova who is in Cambodia for the 43rd General Assembly of the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) attended the session opening ceremony as a special guest of the Cambodian side on 21 November, Press and Public Relations Department of Azerbaijani Parliament told APA.

President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia/ President of the current AIPA session Akka Moha Ponhea Chakri Heng Samrin greeted the participants of the 43rd congress.

The address to the participants of the King of Cambodia His Majesty Norodom Sihamoni was read aloud, besides.

Then spoke President of the Senate of Cambodia Vibolsena Fikdei Say Chhum, Prime Minister and Chairman of the ASEAN Aka Moha Sena Padei Teko Hun Sen and President of the Cambodian National Assembly/the 43rd session of the ASEAN IPA GA Akka Moha Ponhea Chakri Heng Samrin. A discussion of organisational matters followed, whereafter the first plenary session of the 43rd session of the General Assembly took place.
