Minister: “Azerbaijan positively appreciates meeting held in 3+3 format”

“Initiative of the establishment of 3+3 regional discussion platform was put forward by Azerbaijani and Turkish presidents,” said Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the press conference on finals of 2021, APA reports.

The minister noted that the founding meeting of the "3 + 3" format was held in Moscow in December: “The first meeting was held not in 3+3 format, but in 3+2 format. The aim was to have an initial exchange of views. It is a positive case that region countries discuss the problems of their countries at the table. We positively appreciate this meeting, consider initial agreements acceptable.”
