Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) Margarita Sederfelt within the framework of his participation in the 29th meeting of the OSCE Council of Ministers in Lodz, Ministry told APA.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the development prospects of the relations between Azerbaijan and the OSCE PA, issues in the agenda of the OSCE PA, as well as the latest developments in the region, the possible contributions of the OSCE PA to the normalization process between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov informed the President of OSCE PA about the current situation in the region, as well as restoration and reconstruction works carried out in the liberated areas from the occupation, landmine threats also steps taken by Azerbaijan in the direction of the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia.
He noted that despite Armenia’s provocations and the policy of delaying the process, Azerbaijan will continue its efforts in all important directions to ensure peace and stability in the region, including the signing of the future peace agreement, delimitation of the borders, the opening of all communications and other issues.
