Mustafa Shentop: "Cooperation at the regional level should be strengthened"

"As we understand that our problems are common, we also should understand that we must work together to solve them," said Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Mustafa Shentop at the Third General Conference of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Economic Cooperation Organization (PACE) in Baku, APA reports.

The Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly said that international solidarity had become a priority, and besides, this process has shown the importance of parliamentary diplomacy.

We need institutions that understand everyone and address everyone in the new world. As members of the ECO, we must solve problems in a dialogue environment. We must strongly develop our cooperation. Cooperation at the regional level should be strengthened. Global participants do not find solutions to regional problems, deepen them.
