The NATO Secretary General’s Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, Javier Colomina, travelled to the South Caucasus this week, visiting Armenia and Azerbaijan, APA reports citing the official website of the NATO.
The visit was part of regular political consultations in these two NATO partner countries.
In Azerbaijan he met with Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and other officials.
In Armenia he met with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, Defence Minister Suren Papikyan and other officials.
At the meetings, regional security issues and the situation in the Lachin corridor were exchanged.
