New Senior Advisor of US for Caucasus Negotiations to pay a visit to Azerbaijan

"New Senior Advisor of the US Department of State for Caucasus Negotiations Philip Reeker will pay a visit to the region," said Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of State Vedant Patel at a press briefing, APA reports.

According to him, Philip Reeker will visit the South Caucasian region this week.

Vedant Patel has noted this will be Reeker's first visit to the South Caucasus in his new post: "We hope that such visits will take place regularly. He will leave this evening."

It has been reported that Reeker will go to Armenia, Georgia, and Azerbaijan, and in all three countries, he will find ways to discuss the main issues in the region, solve outstanding issues and help partners for future regional cooperation. At the same time, he will meet with senior officials to cooperate directly and constructively.
