Next meeting of political consultations between Azerbaijani and Japanese MFAs held

On July 4, 2022, the next, 12th meeting of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and Japan was held, the press service of Azerbaijani MFA told APA.

At the meeting Azerbaijani side was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov, while the Japanese side was represented by Deputy Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan, Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Central Asia, the Caucasus, and GUAM, Ambassador Touda Shuichi.

During the meeting, the current situation of the relations between the two countries, expanding cooperation in political, economic, humanitarian, and other fields, and development prospects were discussed.
