The ratification of a possible peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be a long process," Vladimir Vardanyan, a deputy from the ruling Civil Contract faction, and chairman of the parliamentary commission on state and legal issues said during the briefing, APA reports.

Vardanyan noted that the process of agreeing on the text of the peace agreement between the official Yerevan and Baku continues, and this process can be positively assessed as a whole. Touching on the process of signing the agreement, the Armenian deputy said: "The agreement must be approved by the government, then the Constitutional Court must verify the agreement's compliance with the supreme law (ed. - constitution) of Armenia after the document must be ratified in the parliament that finally the president will sign it," Vardanyan emphasized.
