"Azerbaijan was among the countries that helped Ukraine from the first day of the war that started in Ukraine," said Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Azerbaijan Rafal Poborski while delivering a speech at the opening of the exhibition consisting of photos called "Mother, I do not want a war" which were drawn by the Polish children during the Second World War, APA reports.

The ambassador expressed his concern about the things that happened on the Azerbaijani-Armenian border.

"Ukraine fights not only for the sake of its freedom but also our freedom. We evaluate Azerbaijan's support of Ukraine, Azerbaijan was among those that helped Ukraine in this grave situation. Azerbaijani sons have also seen the pains of the war like Polish, and Ukrainian sons. We must not forget the pains of Azerbaijani sons who lived in the war. We get information about losses as a result of clashes on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border these days. Azerbaijani friends, accept my sincere condolence. I wish peace for Ukraine and Azerbaijan," said the diplomat.
