President of Palestine calls Azerbaijan's initiatives toward strengthening the NAM noteworthy

As the chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, Azerbaijan's initiatives toward strengthening the Movement, including coordination of member states' activities, are noteworthy, as stated during the meeting of Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, APA reports.

During the meeting, the President stated that as the chairman of the Non-Aligned Movement, Azerbaijan's initiatives toward strengthening the Movement, including coordination of member states' activities, are noteworthy.

Recalling the 30th anniversary of Azerbaijan's diplomatic relations with Palestine last year, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov emphasized the development of relations between the two states based on friendship, solidarity and common values. Confidence was expressed that the establishment of the Representation Office of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the State of Palestine will stimulate the further development of relations.
