President of Timor-Leste considered the difference in assistance to Ukraine and Syria with Yemen unethical

"We see how the powerful and the rich act during a crisis," said President of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste José Ramos-Horta a panel entitled "The era of mega threat: Climate change, Food security, Nuclear security" held within the framework of X Global Baku Forum under the organization of the Nizami Ganjavi, APA reports.

José Ramos-Horta stressed that all countries help Ukraine, its country aided 2 mln dollars to Ukraine: "However, we see Syria and Yemen, those suffering from hunger. This is a morally disappointing point, an ethical issue. U.S. and Europe find millions of dollars of money for the support of Greece, Ireland, and Portugal. We see how the powerful and the rich act during a crisis".
