“We think that the initial agreement reached after the incident today will be implemented completely and as a precondition, it will facilitate the achievement of the peace process in the future,” Representative of the President of Azerbaijan on special assignments Elchin Amirbayov said at a briefing for the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, APA reports.
He noted that from now on, Azerbaijan will be able to concentrate on main issues:
“We appeal to the relevant countries against the background of the very sensitive current situation for them to think several times before making statements. We appeal to the specified sides, to the ones who want to hold UN Security Council meeting, to think over the effects these steps will have on the peace agenda. We want to focus on the main peace agenda.”
