Proposing unilateral resolutions in US Congress harms peace talks with Armenia: Azerbaijan MFA

Radical Armenian organizations operating in the United States provide untrue and unfounded information to members of Congress regarding the establishment of the Lachin border checkpoint, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Mammadov, who is on a visit to the US, said in his meetings with members of the U.S. Senate, Senator Tom Cotton, Senator Ben Cardin, and members of the House of Representatives, Jack Bergman, Chuck Fleischmann, Mike Ezell, and Robert Aderholt, Azerbaijani MFA told APA.

He also emphasized that in this context, proposing unilateral resolutions that do not serve the national interests of the United States by the members of the US Congress harms the ongoing peace talks.
