Public representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia held the first meeting after the end of the military conflict in Nagorno Karabakh, APA's Moscow bureau reports citing TASS.

The meeting was held in Moscow.

Measures on reducing tensions between the peoples of both countries have been discussed in the meeting: "On December 23 and 24, the first meeting of the public representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia has been held in Moscow by the participation of Mikhail Shvydkoy, Special Envoy of the President of the Russian Federation after the end of military conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia in November of 2020. The meeting participants have discussed measures on reducing tension between two people, and reached agreement on the continuation of such contacts at the beginning of 2022".
