"Decisions on delimitation of border, transport and humanitarian issues will allow Baku and Yerevan to sign a peace agreement," said Russian President Vladimir Putin at the Summit of the Security Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization in Yerevan, APA's correspondent in Moscow reports.
Putin has positively assessed the summit of the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia, and the Russian Federation held in Sochi at the end of October, and noted that the negotiations established a good basis for future compromises on fundamental issues. The President said that the joint statement reaffirmed commitment to the high-level trilateral agreements reached in 2020 and 2021. He emphasized that only the consistent implementation of these agreements on the delimitation of borders, opening of transport communications, and the resolution of humanitarian problems will contribute to the normalization of relations between the countries.
