“I think that one of the important issues regarding the Caspian sea is that heads of state of the Caspian littoral states regularly meet. Of course, Your Majesty has plans to visit Tehran, and I have plans to visit Baku,” said President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Ibrahim Raisi at the meeting with Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev in Ashgabat, APA reports.
“However, our meetings using such platforms also contribute to the development of our relations. The potential of relations between two countries is more than what currently exists. I consider that we have not been able to take full advantage of the many potentials in our relationship. I think that political, economic relations between the two countries, trade, and cultural relations can further be developed than the existing situation,” stressed the Iranian leader.
