Representative of French MFA: Resolution adopted by Senate regarding Azerbaijan is not position of government

Brice Rocquefeuil, special envoy for the South Caucasus, ambassador for the Eastern Partnership, representative of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs commented on the resolution adopted by the French Senate regarding Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Today, the chairman of the international relations and inter-parliamentary relations committee of the Milli Majlis, Samad Seyidov, met with the delegation led by the special envoy for the Eastern Partnership of the European Union, Dirk Schuebel, which included the officials of the European Union and a number of member countries for the Eastern Partnership.

Brice Rocquefeuil said at the meeting that the resolution adopted by French Senate regarding Azerbaijan is not a position of French government.
