“We want to establish relations with Azerbaijan not only in the energy field but also in other fields,” said Romanian energy minister Virgil-Daniel Popescu at the 6th meeting of the Azerbaijani-Romanian intergovernmental commission, APA reports.
According to the minister, they intend to develop relations in agriculture, social service, and education fields too: “Today several Romanian companies are investing in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani companies are investing in the energy sector in Romania as well. There are wide opportunities to invest both in energy and other fields.”
