Russia is ready to hold meeting of Azerbaijani and Armenian FMs

'The Russian side has confirmed that it is ready to hold a meeting of the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia under the patronage of Sergey Lavrov. Baku and Yerevan were also informed about this," said the official representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Maria Zakharova at today's briefing, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

"We assume that periodic worsening of the situation on the scene should not lead to suspension or freezing of the negotiation process. It is important to quickly resume work on all tracks related to the opening of transport communications, the delimitation and demarcation of borders, the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, including the peace agreement," noted the MFA official.
