"I had phone talk with Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun bayramov on the previous day. We discussed situation on the Lachin road during the phone conversation," says Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergei Lavrov at the press conference devoted to Russian diplomacy in 2022 on Wednesday, APA reports.
According to him, based on the trilateral statement signed by Azerbaijani, Russian, Armenian Presidents on November 9, 2020, the Lachin road should be open for movement of trucks, transport vehicles and civilian residents.
"I believe that the issue will be solved soon," stressed Lavrov.
