Russian Foreign Ministry: "One of the formats related to the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations yields concrete results"

"There are various formats for the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. We see that one of the formats yields concrete results," said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova at a briefing today, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

According to him, Russia attaches more attention to the format, which gives constructive results that satisfy both Baku and Yerevan: “In accordance with it, if the format satisfies Baku and Yerevan, then it also satisfies us. There is also the second format. This format has a history. We are represented in that format. However, this format (the format of the co-chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group) does not bring any efficiency to the current stages. However, we direct the main attention to the really efficient line.”

Zakharova also noted that her country is in favor of the various negotiations format: “Nevertheless, if there are really concrete consequences, which everyone sees, then why don’t we focus on that result?!
