"Moscow is providing assistance to agree on a peace agreement between Baku and Yerevan. Russia intends to create an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding between the parties," said the Director of the Fourth Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry for CIS Countries Denis Gonchar, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.

"We are helping to agree on a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia. Russia is determined to continue to assist Baku and Yerevan in finding a common language, building an atmosphere of trust and mutual understanding. Moreover, we welcome the initiatives of third countries that can complement our trilateral efforts and are not based on logical geopolitical games, "said the Russian diplomat.

He noted that a number of tasks are being addressed within the implementation of trilateral agreements between the leaders of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia, including the start of the process of delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the opening of economic and transport ties in the region. In particular, we are ready to provide advisory assistance to the bilateral commission on border delimitation and present the necessary cartographic materials. We are about to reach an agreement as soon as possible on specific projects related to the restoration and development of transport infrastructure within the Tripartite Working Group, co-chaired by the Deputy Prime Ministers of Russia, Azerbaijan, and Armenia.
