The process of normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations cannot go without problems "on the ground", Mikhail Galuzin, Deputy Prime Minister of Russian Federation said in an iterview with Izvestiya, APA reports.

The main elements of the settlement, that is, the formation of the main directions of action towards the ceasefire and the normalization of Armenia-Azerbaijan relations, all these principles were formed and started to be implemented only thanks to the mediation mission of Russia and its President. This in itself is already an important achievement," said the Russian diplomat.

"It is clear that the resolution of outdated and sensitive conflict situations like the ones happening in and around Karabakh, if you look at the events realistically, cannot go without problems on the ground," said Galuzin.
