“Russia relies on the entire spectrum of tripartite agreements in the process of normalization between Baku and Yerevan. Namely trilateral statements constitute a reliable ground for the development of this process,” said the official of the Russian MFA Mariya Zakharova at the briefing held today, APA’s Moscow correspondent reports.
She said that Russia is trying to fulfill its function as a mediator effectively.
“We take into account that we are bound by our allied obligations with both Armenia and Azerbaijan, therefore as mediators, we are always in a position that allows us to perform this function effectively. I hope that Armenia is aware of that,” Zakharova noted.
