“We express our deep concern regarding the latest tension that occurred in the territory in Karabakh temporarily stationed by Russian peacekeepers,” said the official of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova while commenting on the latest tension in Karabakh, APA reports.
“There was an armed incident resulting in human losses from both the Armenian and Azerbaijani sides on March 5. We insistently call on the sides to exercise restraint and take steps to de-escalate the situation,” the comment says.
Russian MFA called on the sides to follow the trilateral agreements signed among Russian, Azerbaijani, and Armenian leaders, dated November 10, 2020, January 11 and November 26, 2021, and October 31, 2022.
