Russian PM visits the Alley of Honor and Alley of Martyrs

The delegation headed by the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation, Mikhail Mishustin, who is on a visit to our country, visited the Alley of Honor on November 18 and paid tribute to the memory of Heydar Aliyev, the national leader of our people, the architect and founder of the modern independent state of Azerbaijan, laid a wreath and put the flowers at his grave, APA reports.

The memory of prominent ophthalmologist-scientist and academician Zarifa Aliyeva was commemorated, and flowers were laid on her grave.

The guests also visited the Alley of Martyrs, paid tribute to the heroes of the Motherland who lost their lives in the struggle for the freedom and sovereignty of our country, laid flowers on their graves, and put a wreath before the "Eternal Torch" monument.
