Russian President and EC President discussed Karabakh: Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin and head of the European Council Charles Michel discussed Karabakh, and reaffirmed the fundamental importance of fulfilling the trilateral agreements between Yerevan, Baku and Moscow, APA reports citing the Kremlin press service.

The theme of ensuring stability and security in Karabakh was also touched upon, including taking into account the recent contacts held by Vladimir Putin and Charles Michel with the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan.

The fundamental importance of the consistent implementation of the fundamental trilateral agreements of Armenia, Azerbaijan and Russia dated November 9, 2020, January 11, 2021, and November 26, 2021, was reaffirmed.

It is added that Putin also announced steps to implement projects to restore economic and transport ties, as well as to launch the process of delimiting the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and negotiations to develop a peace treaty between the two countries.
