On September 16, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov has received the newly appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Azerbaijan, Essam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili, Azerbaijani MFA told APA.
During the meeting, the Ambassador presented the copy of his credentials to Minister Jeyhun Bayramov. Minister Jeyhun Bayramov wished success to the Ambassador of the friendly country Saudi Arabia.
Noting the existence of a bilateral and multilateral cooperation agenda between Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabia in various fields, including political, economic, energy security, humanitarian, etc. with pleasure, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov pointed out that mutual visits and contacts play important role in developing the relations. Especially, the display of mutual solidarity within the framework of international organizations between the two countries and the support for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity and sovereignty was mentioned with satisfaction.
The importance of mutual visits of foreign ministers and consultations held between MFAs was emphasized.
The ambassador talked about the development of relations between the two countries and the recent bilateral meetings. He noted that he will further increase efforts in the direction of further expansion of trade between our countries.
Other issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
