"At the event organized in Shusha on the occasion of the Victory Day, the President of Azerbaijan gave serious messages not only in the historical and political context but also in terms of the geopolitical realities that have arisen in the region. He once again emphasized that our country has taken decisive and consistent steps to ensure peace and lasting stability in the South Caucasus, and will not change its position in the future," Soltan Mammadov, a member of the Azerbaijani Parliament told APA.

Soltan Mammadov noted that Armenia's refusal to fulfill its obligations is primarily a blow to its own interests. At the same time, it also hinders initiatives to open a new page in the history of the region: "Azerbaijan offers everyone cooperation, peace, respect for each other's territorial integrity and sovereignty. Our position is based on international law and justice. I think that the processes going on in the world today, the new configurations that are being formed in the system of international relations, have made it necessary for all states to base their foreign policy on the mentioned values. Therefore, delaying the peace process under various pretexts and evading the obligations undertaken in international agreements will not benefit Armenia. Armenia should not repeat its mistakes before the 44-day war, but on the contrary, it should learn from these mistakes."
