Solemn opening ceremony of Azerbaijani Embassy in Israel was held -VIDEO-UPDATED

The official opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani Embassy in Israel was held today, APA's correspondent to Israel reports.

Foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Israel, parliamentarians of both countries, public and art representatives attended the event.

The ceremony started with the national anthems of both countries.

Speaking at the event, Minister Jeyhun Bayramov spoke about various directions of Azerbaijan-Israel cooperation.

Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen stressed that the opening of the embassy during the 30-year cooperation indicates the depth of strategic relations. Calling Azerbaijan a strategic partner of Israel, the minister said that the two countries cooperate closely in various fields.

Then the ministers presented the plaque with the name of the embassy.

The ceremony continued with a concert program of Azerbaijani artists.
