Tajik ambassador to Azerbaijan: "Trade turnover between our countries increased by 3 times"

"Relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan are based on deep trust and confidence," said an ambassador of Tajikistan to Azerbaijan Rustam Soliev while delivering a speech at the discussions in the meeting of the Center for International Relations Analysis, APA reports.

He noted that diplomatic relations between the two countries have been established on May 29, 1992.

The ambassador noted that the relations are based on the deep trust: "There are brotherly relations between two countries. These relations are expanded at present and leadership of both countries contributes to this".

Rustam Soliyev noted that these relations have deep roots.

The ambassador noted that the Azerbaijani embassy started to operate in Dushanbe in 2007, and the Tajik embassy started to operate in Baku in 2008, during these years, there have been mutually high-level visits, and meetings during these years.

The diplomat has noted that 62 documents have been signed between the two countries: "Trade turnover between our countries has increased by 3 times".
