Telephone conversation with Ararat Mirzoyan was professional and constructive, says Azerbaijani FM

"Our telephone conversation with Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan was professional and constructive," Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov told journalists, APA reports.

According to J. Bayramov, practical steps have been discussed during the phone conversation with his Armenian counterpart as a continuation of the agreement of the EU, Azerbaijani, and Armenian leaders.

Minister has reminded challenges regarding the peace treaty, as well as the process of delimitation of borders and humanitarian issues are ahead.

"While speaking about formation of working groups on both borders and development of a peace treaty, principles should be followed in terms of its format, level, and appropriation," stressed FM.

Jeyhun Bayramov has also added that the Azerbaijani side takes positive steps and expects the same from the opposite side.
