“Discussions on normalization of relations between Turkiye and Armenia are underway,” said the chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Turkish Grand National Assembly, Akif Cagatay Kilic, APA reports.
According to him, on the table, there are several issues, as well as Armenia’s normalization proposal without preliminary conditions: "At present, charter flights have been launched between the two countries. There have been disagreements for a long time, and the normalization process of relations does not take one or two days. However, the parties' appointment of a special envoy for it is an indication of the will."
Akif Cagatay Kilic said that Azerbaijan also supported the process. He also said that Turkiye stands by Azerbaijan during the process after liberation of territories too: "I hope we will see positive results in the future."
