Latvian Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense Artis Pabriks visited the Nizami Ganjavi International Center as part of his visit to Azerbaijan, APA reports.

The Center's visits to refugee camps in Romania, Moldova, Bulgaria, and Poland in February-April on regional security, the refugee and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine, and the XXIII High-Level Meeting in Greece in preparation for the IX Global Baku Forum, including the IX Global Baku Forum Meetings of the center's members, were held in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Slovenia, Albania, Northern Macedonia, and Turkey, the guests were informed.

Artis Pabriks was invited to the IX Global Baku Forum in June, where the co-chairs of the Center, former Latvian President Vaira Vike-Freiberga's "Seven Beauties of Nizami Ganjavi and Other Essays in Literature" and former World Bank Vice President Ismail Serageldi's Nizami Ganjavi: Poet and Wise" books and gifts were presented.

In addition, the guest was presented an exhibition of manuscripts of the great Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi at the Center.

It was agreed that A.Pabriks will have a more detailed exchange of views with the Secretary General and members of the Center, who will visit Riga in May.
