"Moscow helps Armenia and Azerbaijan prepare a peace treaty, but there are many obstacles to peace," said Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin in his interview with TASS, APA reports.
According to him, Russia is making purposeful efforts to normalize relations between the countries based on the complex tripartite agreements at the highest level.
"Russia's mediation is to ensure a constructive and meaningful dialogue, Moscow has also conveyed its views on the main principles and parameters of the peace process to its partners. There are many obstacles on the way to peace. There is a long history of conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Its final solution requires time, patience, and conditions to ensure the validity and strength of bilateral agreements. Russia's goal is that peace and stability in the South Caucasus will always be at the forefront," the Russian diplomat stressed.
